Job summary

As a Lead Teacher, you will implement engaging lessons with our curriculum, support social, emotional, physical, and language development, and collaborate with a supportive leadership team focused on your growth. Join our accredited program and make a lasting difference.

Qualifications

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Head Start experience.
• Experience as a Lead Teacher in a preschool or childcare setting.
• Licensed childcare center experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement engaging lessons with our curriculum and resources.
• Foster a warm, safe, inclusive classroom where children feel valued.
• Support cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development.
• Guide positive behavior with developmentally appropriate methods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with families about progress and activities.
• Support daily routines including meals, rest, toileting, self-help.
• Collaborate with assistants and leadership for high-quality experience.
• Follow state licensing regulations, health standards and safety.
