Active Learning Centers is a family-owned childcare provider seeking a Full-Time Lead Teacher for our Preschool/Pre K program. We offer competitive pay ($20-25/hour) based on education and experience, with a requirement of a Bachelor's in Education and 3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Teacher; Pre School experience is a plus
• Excellent understanding of child development principles
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
• Balance between creativity and practical acumen
• Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's in education (required)

Responsibilities

• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for Preschool (3 year olds)
• Create and follow lesson plans and structured schedule
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.)
• Observe each child to help them improve social competencies and self-esteem
• Encourage children to interact with each other
• Guide children to develop artistic and practical capabilities through a structured curriculum
• Plan daily outdoor and gross motor play
• Maintain daily communication with parents and provide high-level customer service
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean classroom aligned with health and safety standards
• Attend monthly staff meetings
