Job summary

Orlando Torah Academy is seeking a nurturing and caring lead teacher for our 18 month to 2 years old class for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is available immediately.

The ideal candidate will have experience with early childhood students and/or hold a CDA certification, and will collaborate with fellow teachers and the Early Childhood Director to provide engaging, language-rich activities. Participation in conferences and school events is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with early childhood students or CDA certification.
• Caring, reliable, and positive role model for children.
• Ability to create engaging daily activities and work as a team with teachers and director.

Responsibilities

• Support development of language, language, and motor skills in young children.
• Create engaging and fun daily activities.

A strong candidate has a calming attitude and engaging energy that they bring to their classroom. They will have experience working with early childhood students and/or have CDA certification.

This position entails:

• working with young children and helping them develop language, fine and gross motor skills, and social-emotional development.
• creating engaging and fun daily activities
• working as a team with other teachers and assistant teachers, and collaborating with our Early Childhood Director
• participating in Parent-Teacher Conferences and school events

We are looking for someone who is caring, reliable, dedicated, passionate about young children, and a positive role model for the children.
