Job summary

Acquire4Hire LLC seeks a dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher for its Naugatuck, CT program. You will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, guiding young children socially, emotionally, and academically while aligning a creative curriculum with state standards.

You will partner with families and staff, lead circle time and activity blocks, assess progress, and ensure a compliant classroom. Strong communication and early childhood expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a preschool classroom.
• Active State of Connecticut Head Teacher certificate or CDA credential.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain before starting).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a high-quality curriculum aligned with CT standards.
• Lead daily classroom activities including circle time, small group learning, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
• Assess and document child development and share progress at conferences.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and execute a high-quality, age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with Connecticut early learning standards.
• Lead daily classroom activities including circle time, small group learning, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
• Assess and document child development and progress to tailor instruction and share insights during parent-teacher conferences.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that meets all state licensing regulations.
• Guide classroom assistant teachers and foster a positive, collaborative team dynamic.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a preschool classroom.
• Active State of Connecticut Head Teacher certificate or CDA credential.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain before starting).
• Excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of early childhood development milestones.
