Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in food preparation and cooking.
• A food handling certificate or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• The ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and cook healthy meals for preschool children.
• Maintain and track food allergies for each child.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with Center leadership on food purchases and inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service to parents and children.
• Be flexible to the daily needs of the childcare center.
