Job summary

The Goddard School located in Spring, TX is seeking a cook to prepare meals for preschoolers. Responsibilities include cooking for multiple classrooms, planning monthly menus, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment.

You will help serve breakfast and lunch, manage kitchen inventory, and assist in other areas as needed while enjoying a fun, educational setting with children.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for 150 children plus is a must.

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh fruit, vegetables, and other products
• Serving breakfast, cooking and serving lunch for all classrooms; serving a morning and afternoon snack
• Writing and preparing monthly lunch and snack menus
• Cleaning and washing prep table, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning and organizing the prep fridge and pantry
• Rinsing kitchen equipment and cutting boards
• Maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen and pantry
• Budgeting, managing, and ordering inventory
• Assisting in other areas as needed assigned by management
• Having fun working in a preschool
