Job summary

I3 INFOTEK INC seeks a compassionate Preschool Instruction Assistant (CNA) to support students with special needs in a Phoenix classroom. You will implement IEP goals, provide instructional and personal care support, and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, supervising students, and collaborating with teachers. The role is onsite, 36 hours per week, 9-month contract, with a day shift from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; further education preferred.
• Associate's Degree or 60 college credits or Paraprofessional Certification required or preferred.
• Current Arizona Driver's License required.
• CPR/BLS Certification required or must be obtained within the required timeframe.
• Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and assist students.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking and time management skills.

• Support students individually and in small groups with academic, social, and daily living skills.
• Monitor student behavior and ensure the safe use of classroom equipment.

• Transport students to classroom activities and appointments as required.
• Participate in professional development and required training sessions.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's Degree OR completion of 60 college credit hours OR a valid Paraprofessional Certification.
• Current Arizona Driver's License.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification (First Aid and Crisis Intervention certification required or must be obtained within the required timeframe).
• Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and assist students with physical needs.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• American Sign Language (ASL) skills.
• Braille knowledge.
• Experience working with preschool children or students with developmental disabilities/special needs.
• Experience supporting students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
