Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Teacher to support enrichment programs, including cooking, yoga, and sports-based activities. The role focuses on creating a fun, safe, and structured environment where young learners can grow socially, emotionally, and physically.

The position requires experience with preschool-aged children, strong classroom management and communication skills, and a willingness to travel between nearby campuses as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
• Experience or interest in cooking, yoga, or sports-based programming
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to lead engaging, high-energy activities while maintaining structure and safety
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Lead and support enrichment programs such as Kids Café, Culinary Club, Young Yogis, and Kickstart Soccer
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities promoting creativity, teamwork, coordination, and social-emotional learning
• Ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment at all times
• Supervise children during enrichment sessions with appropriate ratios and engagement
• Adapt activities to varying developmental levels and learning styles
• Help children develop practical life skills like following directions and problem solving
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of materials, especially in food-based programs
• Communicate positively with parents and school leadership regarding participation and progress
