- Must hold and maintain as required American Red Cross certification in Infant & Child CPR, Child Care Health & Safety & California Child Care CPR and First Aid
- Certification from California Commission for Teacher Credentialing - Instructor permit
- Any other permit and/or credentials as required by law
- Must have a high school diploma
