Grace Fellowship of West Palm Beach, Inc. seeks a Preschool Director to provide spiritual, educational, and operational leadership for the preschool program, ensuring excellence in teaching, student development, and staff performance.

The Director reports directly to the Head of School. Responsibilities include leading operations, ensuring Florida licensing and DCF compliance, maintaining personnel records, overseeing ACIS accreditation, interviewing staff, and managing budgets and enrollment

Qualifications

• Demonstrates personal relationship with Jesus Christ and lives by Christian conduct.
• Active membership at Grace Fellowship Church and regular church ministry involvement.
• Meets Florida Director Credential and DCF requirements.
• Minimum of two years of experience in early childhood education.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of child development and best practices in early learning.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred), Elementary Education, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Leads the overall operation of the preschool program.
• Ensures compliance with Florida licensing and DCF requirements.
• Maintains personnel files and employee documentation, certifications, and records.
• Oversees the accreditation process (ACSI) for the preschool program.
• Interviews and recommends candidates for employment (staff, teachers, and aides).
• Oversees staff development, training, and performance evaluations.
• Builds strong, positive relationships with families and supports enrollment efforts.
• Manages program budget, records, and reporting requirements.
• Plans and oversees all special preschool events.
• Performs other duties as assigned by school administration.

Preschool Director Key Responsibilities

The Preschool Director is responsible for providing spiritual, educational, and operational leadership for the preschool program while ensuring excellence in teaching, student development, and staff performance. The Director reports directly to the Head of School.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leads the overall operation of the preschool program
• Ensures compliance with Florida licensing and DCF requirements
• Maintains personnel files and ensures all required employee documentation, certifications, and records remain current
• Oversees the ACSI accreditation process for the preschool program, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards
• Interviews and recommends candidates for employment, including Extended Care staff, substitute teachers, teachers, and teacher assistants
• Oversees staff development, including training, support, and performance evaluations
• Builds and maintains strong, positive relationships with families
• Supports enrollment efforts and maintains consistent student enrollment levels
• Manages program budget, records, and reporting requirements
• Plans, organizes, and oversees all special preschool events
• Performs other duties as assigned by school administration in support of the school's mission
