Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching preschool and/or early childhood dance classes
• Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate movement for young children
• Up-to-date knowledge of early childhood teaching practices and dance fundamentals
• Ability to lead a classroom independently with confidence and care
• Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic
• Dance background preferred (ballet, jazz, creative movement, or early childhood dance training)

Responsibilities

• Teaching preschool and/or early childhood dancers in a way that is joyful, engaging, structured, and developmentally appropriate
• Creating entertaining and engaging classrooms where young dancers feel safe, seen, and successful
• Building strong foundations in movement, rhythm, coordination, listening skills, and classroom behavior
• Supporting human development just as much as dance technique
• Partnering with families and leadership to create a WOW experience from the very first class
