Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in cooking/food preparation in a business setting.
• Food handling certificate or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy meals for preschool children meeting nutritional requirements.
• Maintain and track food allergies for each child and communicate with teachers.
• Follow proper food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with Center Leadership to purchase food and supplies and maintain inventory as required by authorities.
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward parents and children, with clear communication.
• Be flexible and adaptable to daily childcare center needs.
