Job summary

The Learning Experience in Medford, NJ is hiring a Preschool Cook to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for preschoolers and support classroom staff. You will ensure allergy safety, follow sanitation procedures, and help with inventory and ordering.

A positive attitude and customer service mindset are essential. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ year cooking experience, and food handling certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days; ServSafe certification or

• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, healthy meals for preschoolers.
• Create meals that meet nutritional requirements.
• Carefully manage food allergies and communicate with teachers.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and storage procedures.
• Help maintain inventory and order food and supplies.
• Bring a positive attitude and great customer service daily.
• Lend a helping hand in classrooms when needed.
