Job summary

The Learning Experience – Bordentown, NJ is hiring a Preschool Cook to create meals that meet nutritional requirements for our young learners and to support classrooms with delicious, child-friendly options that fuel their day.

You will follow food safety procedures, carefully manage food allergies and communicate with teachers, help maintain inventory and orders, and bring a positive, friendly attitude to every child and staff member.

Qualifications

• Create meals meeting nutritional requirements.
• Communicate effectively with teachers about allergies.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures.
• Must have or obtain food handling and ServSafe certifications within 90 days.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of food preparation/cooking experience
• Food handling certification—or willingness to obtain within 90 days
• ServSafe certification—or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Someone dependable, flexible, positive and ready to have FUN!
