Job summary

A creative dance school in Brookhaven is seeking passionate instructors to lead ballet classes for children. Candidates should have a strong dance background, preferably in ballet, and exhibit excellent communication skills. Teaching experience is also encouraged. The role requires reliable availability on weekday afternoons and weekends, dedicating time to nurturing young dancers in a supportive environment focused on creativity and joy.

Qualifications

• Experience in dancing with a ballet background is strongly preferred.
• High school or equivalent is preferred.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• Weekday afternoon approximately 3-7pm available.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Lead 45-minute classes following Tutu School's Class Curriculum.
• Take attendance and answer basic questions about class membership.
• Build rapport and communication with families and prospective clients.
• Perform basic retail duties including product restocking.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the studio and lobby.
• Communicate effectively with management and administration.
