Bethesda Country Day School seeks a Preschool Assistant Teacher to support learners in a balanced, play-based program guiding early literacy and social skills. You will partner with educators to create a warm, inclusive classroom that fosters curiosity and confidence in young children.

Bethesda Country Day School is seeking a creative and passionate Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators! Our preschool program provides a balance of learning and play, helping children build the academic and social skills that prepare them for Pre-K and beyond.

As a Preschool Teacher, you'll inspire curiosity, nurture confidence, and create meaningful learning experiences that make every day exciting and purposeful for young learners.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote exploration, early literacy, and critical thinking.
• Encourage independence and collaboration through hands-on, play-based learning.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• Part Time, Working hours: Monday-Friday from 3:00pm - 6:00pm.
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare center.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a nurturing, enthusiastic personality.
• Authorization to work in the United States
