Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation in Colorado is seeking an Assistant Early Childhood Teacher to provide caring, developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 0-5. You will support classroom teams, maintain safety, and engage families with regular updates.

The role emphasizes outdoor activity, teamwork, and ongoing professional development, with a focus on inclusive classrooms and learning through play.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development and willingness to stay up to date with current best practices.
• Interest in young children and concern for their well-being.
• Ability to engage children in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Strong communication with parents, supervisors, and staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide a safe, healthy environment focusing on children’s social-emotional, physical, and cognitive needs.
• Perform daily child care duties as assigned and help in other classrooms as needed.
• Register in the PDIS and complete 15 hours of continuing education annually.
• Maintain professional communication with parents and staff.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings and follow company policies.
