Primrose School at Macland Pointe in Marietta, GA is seeking an Assistant Teacher to create a fun, safe environment and implement a Balanced Learning curriculum. You will guide infants through preschool-age children with small group instruction, helping them absorb content and develop confidence.

Responsibilities include supervision, maintaining a tidy classroom, and supporting a co-teacher in lesson plans; the role emphasizes building relationships and contributing to a nurturing learning

Qualifications

• Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency, Bright From the Start.
• Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in licensed early childhood education, Preschool, PreK, or daycare program required.
• Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Responsabilités

• Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
• Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior.
• Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Castle Rock, and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children in daycare or childcare center
