Job summary

La Mère Academy is seeking a dedicated caregiver to supervise a group of young children and support daily classroom activities. You will implement lessons, observe developmental progress, and collaborate with the Leadership Team for conferences and evaluations.

The role requires a High School Diploma (CDA preferred) and CPR/First Aid certification. The position offers bi-weekly pay, direct deposit, and a benefits package including meals and flexible spending opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or higher (degree in early childhood or CDA preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required or strongly preferred.
• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
• Experience in licensed early childhood program is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily class functions for a group of children.
• Follow all health, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Plan with Leadership Team for parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.
• Maintain an attractive, engaging classroom and supportive environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and school functions.
