Qualifications

• Valid CDA credential or Associate degree in early childhood education/child development.
• An approved written compliance plan may be considered when permitted by GSRP requirements.
• Ability to meet licensing, background, health, certification, and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily routines.
• Maintain active supervision and protect each child’s health, safety, dignity, and well-being.
• Support meals, snacks, toileting, rest time, transitions, arrival and dismissal, and classroom organization.
• Maintain attendance, meal counts, observations, assessments, and enrollment records.
