Prodigy at Creekside is seeking an Assistant Preschool Teacher to support developmentally appropriate activities and nurture a holistic learning environment for children. You will help with lesson planning, observation, and progress tracking while maintaining a safe, caring setting.

The role requires collaboration with the teaching team, clear communication with families, and adherence to DAP and accreditation standards.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDA preferred.
• 1 year experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP).
• Familiar with NAEYC standards.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in development and implementation of lesson plan activities.
• Assess and observe children daily.
• Adjust learning goals for each child as needed.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment.
• Collaborate with co-teacher and other staff members.
• Communicate with teachers, staff, and parents in a professional manner.
• Assist with creating classroom newsletters, documentation, and portfolios.
• Be familiar with early childhood theories (Piaget, Vygotsky, Montessori, etc.).
• Participate in at least 25 hours of professional development per year.
