BrightPath Kids in Westlake, OH is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support teachers and families in providing a safe, nurturing environment for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, following NAEYC guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
