Grow Early Learning Corp in South Bay, FL is seeking a motivated Preschool Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum for young learners.

You will help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that fosters physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth, while maintaining a clean space and communicating regularly with families about progress and concerns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State-approved training program for early childhood education.
• Experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and support staff.
• Enrollment in an associate/bachelor’s degree program or enrolled in CDA credential or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for all children in the classroom.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes growth across physical, social, emotional, and cognitive domains.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about progress and concerns.
• Ensure safety and well-being by following all health and safety guidelines and protocols.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young learners in South Bay, FL. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved training program for early childhood education.
• Experience working with young children in a classroom setting

• Enrollment in an associate/bachelor’s degree program or enrolled in CDA credential or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field
• Pre-School Child Development Associate (CDA) or state equivalency
• Experience working with diverse populations of children and families
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
