Celebree School™ in Plano, TX is seeking a Childcare Aide / Assistant Teacher for an entry-level role. You will support lead teachers, help maintain a high standard of care and education, and work with a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old, enjoy working with children, and value a positive, inclusive classroom. This position offers daytime shifts with no nights or weekends and opportunities for growth and education.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in classroom management and ensure compliance with regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
• Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assist and supervise children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
• Present a positive and professional image at all times adhering to uniform requirements.
• Communicate effectively with parents, greeting by name, addressing concerns promptly, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
