Job summary

Chesterbrook Academy seeks a caring, creative Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood team. Our twos program focuses on discovery, independence, and building a foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

As a Preschool Assistant Teacher, you’ll guide curious learners through hands-on experiences that foster language development and social growth in a nurturing setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with co-teachers and leaders to maintain a supportive classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Must be available to work 3-6 PM, Monday - Friday
• Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
• Authorization to work in the United States

• Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support each child’s development.
• Foster social-emotional growth by modeling kindness, patience, and problem-solving.
