Bright Water Waldorf School is seeking an energetic, collaborative, and warm-hearted teacher, committed to the ideals of Waldorf education, who would like to join a vibrant Waldorf community and serve as an assistant preschool teacher. Required Credentials:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Waldorf teacher certification or willingness to take up and complete the training

• Commitment and energy in working with preschool age children
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues
• Commitment to an equitable, anti‑racist, and gender‑inclusive environment, evaluation of systemic privilege and oppression, and an openness to personal and institutional growth
• Interest in evolving Waldorf curriculum for the 21st Century
• Experience in Waldorf Early Childhood classrooms
• DCYF Childcare Basics (can be completed upon hire)

Location: On campus at Bright Water Waldorf School, 1414 S Weller Street, Seattle, WA 98144

Hours: 8:00am‑1:00pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (with the possibility of extending to full day, if the student‑to‑teacher ratio increases)

Compensation: $25‑$30 /hour, depending on experience
