Job summary

Union Park Elementary in Little Elm, TX is hiring a Pre-Kindergarten Aide to work under the supervision of a certified teacher. You will support daily routines, help with instructional materials, and assist with student records and classroom activities.

Responsibilities include supervising students, assisting with tests, and supporting substitute teachers as needed. Requires education options listed and an active Texas Paraprofessional certificate or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Needs to be a high school graduate or GED with ability to pass paraprofessional assessment; or 48 college hours; or an associate degree or higher.
• Current Texas Educational Aide certificate, or able to obtain upon hire.
• Experience with children preferred; ages 3–5 beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Support administration and scoring of tests and assignments.
• Maintain a neat, engaging classroom environment and manage instructional materials.
