Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Presales Solution Architect for Mendix in the United States. You will lead technical discovery, design Mendix-based architectures, and run workshops to articulate business value and technical feasibility.

You will build proofs of concept and demonstrate integrations with enterprise systems, AI services, and ICX as part of Siemens' AI strategy. You will articulate architecture and governance best practices, enabling customers to accelerate digital transformation through

Qualifications

• Experience with Mendix development, architecture or consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies including LLMs, AI agents, RAG architectures, vector databases and enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience integrating AI services with enterprise applications and business processes.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to both business and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer challenges, objectives and modernization initiatives.
• Design solution architectures leveraging Mendix, ICX, AI services and enterprise systems.
• Conduct technical workshops, architecture sessions and executive briefings.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Deliver compelling business and technical demonstrations tailored to customer use cases.
• Design and develop proof-of-concepts and prototype applications using Mendix.

• Showcase best practices for governance, scalability, security and lifecycle management.

Presales Solution Architect – Mendix

About The Role

We are growing our Mendix Presales team in the United States and are looking for a passionate, customer-focused Presales Solution Architect to help organizations accelerate digital transformation through Mendix low-code development, Generative AI, and Intelligence Center X (ICX). In this role, you will partner with prospects, customers, sales teams, and partners to demonstrate how Mendix, ICX, AI, and enterprise data can be combined to rapidly deliver innovative business solutions. You will lead technical discovery discussions, architect solutions, build proof-of-concepts, and act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey.

What You'll Do

Solution Architecture & Customer Engagement

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer challenges, business objectives, and modernization initiatives.
• Design solution architectures leveraging Mendix, ICX, AI services, and enterprise systems.
• Conduct technical workshops, architecture sessions, and executive briefings.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the sales cycle.

Demonstrations & Proof of Concepts

• Deliver compelling business and technical demonstrations tailored to customer use cases.
• Design and develop proof-of-concepts and prototype applications using Mendix.
• Demonstrate integration with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and AI services.
• Showcase best practices for application governance, scalability, security, and lifecycle management.

AI & Intelligence Center X (ICX) Solutioning

• Position and demonstrate Intelligence Center X (ICX) as part of Siemens' broader AI and digital transformation strategy.
• Help customers understand how to leverage enterprise data, AI, and intelligent automation to improve business outcomes.
• Design and demonstrate AI-powered business applications utilizing Mendix, ICX, and Generative AI technologies.
• Develop customer‑specific demonstrations showcasing intelligent workflows, copilots, assistants, predictive insights, and automation scenarios.
• Educate customers on AI architecture patterns including agentic AI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), knowledge graphs, and enterprise AI governance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Mendix application development, architecture, or consulting.
• Hands‑on experience with Generative AI technologies including LLMs, AI agents, RAG architectures, vector databases, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience integrating AI services with enterprise applications and business processes.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to both business and executive audiences.

Bonus Points If You

• Are already a certified Mendix Developer, Advanced Developer or Expert.
• Have built applications using Mendix in a customer‑facing or enterprise environment.
• Have developed AI‑powered applications, copilots, intelligent assistants, or agentic workflows.
• Enjoy building demos and proof‑of‑concepts that connect business value to innovative technology.
