Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Presales Application Engineer to support Low Voltage power distribution, including UL 1558/UL 891/UL 67 products, and to lead design validation and technical compliance activities. You will work with sales, engineering, and operations to craft competitive, technically sound solutions for hyperscale, data center, commercial, and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in power distribution or electrical systems.
• Experience with power distribution equipment, electrical codes and standards (ANSI, NEC, IEEE, IEC, UL, NEMA).
• Experience with design and application of Medium Voltage products and power systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in selection and application of LV switchgear and switchboard products.
• Develop custom solutions based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to review specifications and proposals.
• Prepare technical documentation including system layouts and equipment specifications.
