Job summary

Wild Horse Pass is seeking a Prepared Foods Clerk to deliver high-quality service in the prepared foods department. You will interact with customers, help them select meals, and ensure attractive presentation while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

The role supports department operations, merchandise and stock prepared foods, and maintains cleanliness and proper equipment use. Evening and weekend shifts are typical in retail.

Qualifications

• Certification in food safety or sanitation (e.g., ServSafe, Food Handlers Card) or attained within 30 days of hire.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• A satisfactory result obtained through a test for illegal drugs is a requirement of employment.
• Must acknowledge and agree to maintain a drug-free workplace as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist in selecting prepared meals.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering recommendations.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operation of the prepared foods department.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization standards of the prepared foods section.
• Follow FIFO procedures to minimize spoilage and reduce waste.
• Assist in receiving and stocking prepared foods as needed.
