Delaware North in Merrimack, NH is hiring a Prep Cook for a full-time position at Fidelity. The role supports the kitchen by preparing items per recipes, following schedules, and maintaining quality across stations. You will help ensure safe handling, proper temps, and timely service for diners.

The shift pattern includes Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing food per established recipes and portions.
• Ability to follow daily production schedules and HACCP guidelines.
• Capable of standing for long periods and multitasking in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Receives daily production schedule and follows Chef instructions.
• Prepares items on production sheets according to recipes and quantities.
• Tastes dishes to ensure quality and consistency.
• Operates and cleans kitchen equipment after use.
• Stores and labels food items per policy with proper dating.
• Completes required logs and reports as needed.
• Adheres to health, sanitation and safety regulations.
• Takes orders and prepares items with short lead times.
• Serves customers efficiently at multiple stations.
• Uses recipes and standards to ensure correct portions and temps.
• Resolves customer concerns and performs other duties as assigned.

PREP COOK (FULL TIME)

Location: Fidelity - 2 Contra Way, Merrimack, NH 03054.

Schedule: Full time schedule. Sunday through Thursday, or Monday through Friday; hours may vary.

Contract: Full-time.

Pay Range

$21.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Tastes completed meals to ensure quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy. Follows HACCP guidelines.
• Completes all required documentation, reports, logs as required.
• Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation time.
• Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Completes orders from steam tables and grill and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Resolves customer concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
