Live! Casino Pittsburgh is seeking a Kitchen Attendant to clean and prepare food for the deli area and help ensure guests have a positive dining experience. You will work in a fast-paced casino kitchen, handling gear and following sanitation rules.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, monitoring performance against local competition, and performing other duties as needed. A high school diploma and one year of kitchen experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
• One (1) year kitchen experience needed. On the job training may be available.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying food product, equipment, trash/waste weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, carry, deliver food items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout a scheduled shift.
• Ability to work around 500 degree ovens and work within 40 degree walk-in refrigerators.
• Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a 10 hr. shift.

Working Conditions

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 100,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
