Job summary

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Prep Cook I to join our culinary team. If you’re passionate about food and teamwork, with kitchen experience, you will contribute to our Signature Dining Programs and engage in à la minute cooking.

You will work in state-of-the-art kitchens with top-notch equipment, and enjoy a schedule that keeps most team members out before 9pm, plus benefits and growth opportunities as we expand across communities.

Qualifications

• Prior service and/or kitchen experience preferred, willing to train.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot kitchens to cold fridges).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the consistent preparation of all food items according to safety and cooking techniques.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and workstation.
• Prepare and assemble high quality menu items to drive resident satisfaction.
