Job summary

Hai Hospitality is seeking Prep Cooks to join the kitchen team supporting Uchi, Uchiko, Uchiba, and Loro concepts. You will help ensure seamless dinner service, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for guests in a fast-paced environment in Austin, TX.

The role offers a starting wage of $16 per hour plus benefits, with opportunities for advancement and internal growth within the multi-concept restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees.
• Detect and identify safety issues, and comply with safety guidelines and standards.
• Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs, stock inventory, and perform restocking duties.
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Maintain a neat and organized workspace, including proper storage of supplies and cleaning of surfaces.
