Compass Group USA is hiring a Prep Cook at Saint Mark's High School in Wilmington, DE. The role is full-time with a standard Monday–Friday schedule and some weekends, offering $20.00–$21.00 per hour.

You will prepare food according to recipes, assist in serving customers, and maintain HACCP-compliant operations in a fast-paced school dining environment. Training and benefits are provided to eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following recipes and quantities.
• Operates and cleans kitchen equipment per department procedures.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy and HACCP guidelines.
• Completes required documentation and logs; maintains clean work areas.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation time.
• Resolves customer concerns and ensures customer satisfaction.
