Compass Group is hiring for a full-time Prep Cook in Greer, SC. Location is BMWGVL - Greer, with a 6:00 am to 4:00 pm schedule Monday through Saturday and some Sundays. The role requires back-of-house experience, knife skills, culinary background, and HACCP knowledge.

Pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities. Associates may receive vacation and holiday pay, health programs, and a retirement plan. Internal referrals are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule from Chef.
• Prepare items according to recipes and production sheets.

• Operate and clean equipment after use per procedures.
• Label, date, and store food items following policy and HACCP.
• Complete required documentation and logs.
• Follow health, sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Assist with order taking and serving at multiple stations.

• We are hiring immediately for full time PREP COOK positions.
• Location: BMWGVL - 1400 Highway 101 South, Greer, SC 29651. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Available Monday through Saturday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, and occasional Sundays. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous back of house, knife skills, culinary, record keeping, and sanitation experience required.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Tastes completed meals to ensure quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy. Follows HACCP guidelines.
• Completes all required documentation, reports, logs as required.
• Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Takes orders from customer and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
• Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Completes orders from steam tables and grill and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Resolves customer concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
