Job summary

Morrison Living in Union City, CA is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time PREP COOK positions. Location is Masonic Homes of CA, 34400 Mission Boulevard, Union City, CA. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $22.50 per hour, with schedules including weekends.

Training is provided and a chef coat is provided; free meal with shift. Join Morrison Living's culinary team to prepare items per recipes, follow HACCP guidelines, and serve guests efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work full-time or part-time shifts including weekends.
• Experience in food preparation and safety is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy. Follows HACCP guidelines.
• Completes daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Tastes meals to ensure quality.
• Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation time.
• Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Resolves customer concerns.
