Qualifications

• Prep or line cook experience is a plus.
• Ability to work holidays, even if their regular scheduled days do not fall on the holiday.
• Physical requirements: You must be able to do heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) and remain on your feet for up to 10 hours at a time.
• Ability to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time at a fast pace.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, and cut various foods to prepare for cooking.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station and the rest of the kitchen.
• Handle all food items by washing, chopping, and cutting according to recipe specifications.
• Follow all directions provided by the Kitchen Manager.
• Support co-workers while being a team player.
• Communicate product needs to line cooks and Kitchen Manager.
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
