SSA Group is seeking a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team in Denver, CO. You will prepare ingredients, season and marinate, and help maintain a clean, organized work area to support a busy culture-focused facility.

Responsibilities include inventory assistance, proper storage, and adherence to health and sanitation guidelines. Ideal candidates are flexible, team-oriented, and capable of handling a fast-paced environment with peaks and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to stay flexible in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
• Manual dexterity to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
• A team player with good communication skills.
• Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of ingredients including washing, chopping, seasoning, and marinating.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies.
• Assist in inventory management and storage of supplies.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
