Hai Hospitality, including Uchi, Uchiko, Uchiba, is seeking a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team in Austin. You will support dinner service, prep ingredients, and help deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees.
• Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs, stock inventory, and perform restocking duties.
• Stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Work in varying temperatures and reconfigure seating or dining areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat and organized workspace and proper storage of supplies.
• Move quickly and safely to respond to guest needs and safety guidelines.
