Millennium Hotels & Resorts’ M Social Sunnyvale is hiring a Prep Cook to support the culinary team in a fast-paced hotel kitchen. You will prep ingredients, follow recipes, and assist with food production for outlets, banquets, and events, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety.

Ideal candidates bring high attention to detail, strong teamwork, and a commitment to cleanliness and food safety; prior hotel or high-volume kitchen experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare vegetables, fruits, meats, seafood, sauces, dressings, garnishes, and other ingredients according to recipes and standards.
• Kitchen Operations: Maintain organized workstations, assist with setup/breakdown, and manage inventory support.
• Food Quality & Presentation: Ensure freshness, correct portion sizes, and proper presentation.
• Food Safety & Sanitation: Follow HACCP, sanitation, and health regulations; maintain hygiene.
• Kitchen Cleaning & Organization: Keep areas clean, organize refrigerators and waste areas.
• Banquets & Events: Assist with prep for large events and catering needs.
• Team Collaboration: Work with Chefs, Cooks, and Beverage teams; communicate clearly.
