Job summary

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse in Providence, RI is seeking a Prep Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will be responsible for proper storage, food prep, and helping maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

You will work with a team to prep, stock, and prepare products for service, support dishwashing as needed, and contribute to a positive, guest-focused dining experience.

Prior restaurant experience is preferred and a willingness to learn is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of previous restaurant experience as a prep cook

Responsibilities

• Proper storage of products in walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer; keep dry storage organized.
• Prep and prepare food to ensure a successful shift and assist with other duties in the kitchen.
• Maintain dishwashing station and support team to uphold food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.

You may need to maintain the dishwasher station throughout the day and will be asked to help with other duties in the kitchen as well as be committed to industry leading food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.

Experience
