Job summary

Caraluzzi's Markets in Newtown, CT is seeking a Prep Cook to support our Prepared Food area and help provide meal solutions for everyday needs and special events.

You will prepare fresh ingredients, deliver friendly customer service at the counter, and assist with catering needs in a fast-paced environment. Previous culinary experience and knife skills are preferred, with a culinary arts degree optional.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary, cooking restaurant or food preparation experience.
• Knife skills including dicing & chopping.
• Preferable degree in Culinary Arts (although not required).
• Positive, upbeat attitude with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
