Montauk Yacht Club, part of Proper Hospitality, is hiring a mid-level Prep Cook to support daily kitchen operations. You will follow recipes, assist with mise en place, and help maintain cleanliness and organization under the guidance of the Sous Chef and kitchen leadership.
Ideal candidates have 3 years of cook experience in fast-paced kitchens, training certification, and a food-handling certificate. Fluency in English, basic math, and strong teamwork are essential to ensure high-quality food

Job Summary:
ThePre Cook isa mid-level culinary position responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations through consistent food preparation, station setup, and cooking tasks. This role requires foundational cooking skills, the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately, and strong attention to cleanliness and organization. Cook 2 works under the direction of the Sous Chef and kitchen leadership to ensure high-quality food production and efficient service.
