Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Prep Cook to prepare made-from-scratch dishes to our legendary standards. You will read prep sheets, follow our recipes, and keep the walk-in refrigerator clean and organized while maintaining and using equipment properly.

You will adhere to storage procedures, practice safety and sanitation, and contribute to a collaborative, high-energy kitchen. Weekly pay and a comprehensive rewards package await qualified Roadies who meet eligibility requirements.

Qualifications

• Reading a prep sheet and understanding kitchen instructions.
• Following Texas Roadhouse legendary recipes and standards.
• Maintaining clean and organized walk-in refrigerator.
• Maintaining and using kitchen equipment properly.
• Adhering to storage and rotation procedures.
• Maintaining proper safety and sanitation practices and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prep sheets to prepare ingredients.
• Follow established recipes and portion control.
• Keep the walk-in refrigerator clean and organized.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Observe proper food storage and rotation procedures.
• Demonstrate teamwork and assist teammates as needed.
