Job summary

Flower Child is seeking a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prep and cook a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, and more, using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other equipment.

You must follow recipes, portion products, and maintain high standards of food safety in a fast-paced setting. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year in a high-volume restaurant, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lb.
• Eye for detail and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prep and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables using kitchen equipment.
• Portion products and follow recipes.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Work calmly in a high-volume environment.
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Be available to fill in as needed for smooth operation.

• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
