Job summary

Mo' Bettahs in Edmond, OK is hiring for Prep/Back of House to support a fast-paced, casual food environment. You will help prepare meals, keep the kitchen clean, and work with a team to meet standards. Training is available for eager applicants.

Ideal candidates are friendly, flexible, and collaborative, with a willingness to learn and grow while contributing to a great guest experience. Flexible full- and part-time shifts are offered with benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Restaurant experience preferred; training available.
• Early availability, usually around 6:00 am.

Our Prep/Back of House position is the perfect way to start (or continue) your career and gain valuable experience in customer and food service. Our ideal candidate is friendly, flexible, and ready to collaborate and work alongside other team members to prepare food and maintain a tidy work area and kitchen; all while meeting company standards and following operational procedures. Responsibilities include preparing food, washing dishes, knowing proper handling of food and kitchen policies, and other required and necessary duties to keep the operation running smoothly. Some kitchen/restaurant experience is preferred, but we are happy to train eager candidates that are ready to learn and grow.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Position requires qualified individuals to be able to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time, be able to lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state. Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform the job's essential functions. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
