Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices required.
• One year of preoperative experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical judgment with supervision and coordinates patient care.
• Maintains standards of practice and ensures patient safety in the perioperative environment.
