Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for 24 hours per week in Pre Surgery Holding Outpatient. Shifts are two 12-hour days, 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, engaging patients and families, ensuring safety, and documenting in the EHR. Requires an RN license, BLS, and typically 1 year of nursing experience. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges to practice where the client is located.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care, engaging patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains patient safety and adheres to ethical and professional standards.
• Documents accurately in EHR and participates in quality initiatives.
