Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse for the PreOp/PACU in Bozeman, MT, PRN. You will provide nursing care in a same day surgery setting under the Director of Nursing and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualified candidates are nursing graduates with a valid RN license and current BLS/ACLS. You will assess patients, administer meds, discharge post-anesthesia patients, and collaborate with physicians while maintaining privacy and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS, ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Assists in provision of nursing care to patients in a same day surgery setting.
• Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician’s orders and centers policies.
• Monitors and controls use of and charging for supplies utilized in the center.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Provides psychological support to patients and/or families.
• Maintains rapport with physicians and other departments providing care for the patients.
